A. Many of the lower quality consumer grade GPS
devices are cheap and do not provide quality satellite signal
reception. While the lower
quality GPS device may work sometimes, we STRONGLY
recommend that you use the Mobile PC Manager
approved GPS Antenna.

A. Yes, the ScreenSafe GPS Antenna is a high
quality device that supports all standard NMEA
protocol signals.
Q. Can I use a Garmin GPS Antenna?
A. No, Garmin uses a proprietary GPS Protocol.
Garmin does not support the International NMEA
Standard GPS protocol.
Q. Does the GPS Antenna emit any harmful signals or
radio waves?
A. The ScreenSafe GPS Antenna is a receive only
antenna similar to the antenna on your car radio.
